I once lived in Sweden in a charming town about 100,000 back then, with a multitude of parks, culture, and natural beauty. On my way to a teaching gig I would pass an 8th century restored mammoth castle built on a gorgeous damn running through the center of town, thanking my lucky stars I wasn't commuting to work on the Long Island Expressway. It felt like there wa a community of musicians and artists who were discovering themselves at the same place at the same time. The name of the town was Örebro, Öre: the smallest denomination of Swedish currency much like our American penny, bro means bridge. Hence...Pennybridge.
